The beginning of the year has been extremely busy, and I’ve found myself either performing existing works or helping others realise them. In January, I completed a quartet of “light-to-sound” converters for the experimental film makers, Lyn Loo and Guy Sherwin, replacing versions I made back in 2009, that were stolen on a recent trip to New York. Their work is very much in the domain of expanded cinema and these device will be used to create “instant” soundtracks to accompany their films.
