Very excited to find myself back in the relaxed Kingdom of Bahrain, in the company of Red Bull and taking part in a residency at their Malja Art Space. Fari Bradley and myself are working together in our duo over the next three weeks, which will see us working in the nicely equipped, “Sound Space” studio (in particular getting to know their Korg MS20 Mini), furthering our own practices and recording aspects of the audio landscape of Bahrain. Also planned for the residency is a performance of our recent work “An UnMuted Serving” on the 28th of June (which we debuted at the REUSE festival in Kuwait, earlier this year) and a workshop/lecture.
